Light up a Life
Remember someone special and support St Oswald’s.
Every year thousands of people – not just those with a connection to St Oswald’s - dedicate a light on our special Christmas tree. Each light is in memory of a loved one and they shine throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
Supporters of the campaign receive a personalised card inscribed with the name of their loved one and they are invited to our Remembrance Services which take place in December. By dedicating a light in memory of someone special, you’ll also be supporting the work of St Oswald’s.
Our Newcastle Service took place on Friday 4th December at the Metro Radio Arena. The turn out was fantastic and everyone had a lovely time at this poignant event. 11,000 lights were dedicated and 9 year old Hannah Condie had the chance to switch them on. Thanks to everyone who took part in the special evening.
